Every birth tells more than one story. We hear the voices of mothers, birth workers and healthcare professionals—but what about the fathers?
Voice of Fathers is…
…a platform dedicated to capturing the honest, unfiltered experiences of men as they witnessed the birth of their children. Through one simple conversation, fathers are invited to reflect on one of the most life-changing moments of their lives.
Each interview asks the same questions, creating a growing collection of stories that reveal the emotions, fears, joys and memories of fatherhood.
Questions:
• How did it happen? • What is your best memory? • Who supported you? • Were you afraid?
• What do you wish someone had told you? • How did becoming a father change you?
This project isn't about taking the spotlight away from mothers.
It's about recognising that birth transforms families, and fathers deserve a space to be heard too.
By sharing these voices,
we hope to encourage better support for fathers, deeper conversations around birth, and a greater understanding of the journey into parenthood.
